Checkpoint types are the groups or categories of checkpoints at which checks will be carried out, such as Doors, Toilets, and Ticket Barriers. Setting up these groups allows you to automatically set which checks need to happen at each checkpoint, based on its checkpoint type.

These are the first items that you create when setting up your venue checks. Navigate to Settings > Checklists > Checklists Setup, and click 'Get Started'. This will take you to step 1, Checkpoint Types.

Simply click 'Create Type' to create your first item; then click 'Add' to create subsequent types.

When you have created every checkpoint type that you need, click 'Continue'. You can always return to this point and add more checkpoint types by selecting 'Checkpoint Types' on the left-hand side of the page.
