Setting up the capabilities in your readiness programme

There are three ways to create new capabilities. You can click ‘Add’ in the top right-hand corner of the screen, and select ‘Add Capability’; you can click '+ Capability' at the top of any list of capabilities; or you can import capabilities in bulk using the WeTrack importer. The latter is explained in the article here. Clicking on either of the former opens up the Add Capability modal, where you input the following information:

  • Title;

  • Capability Type: admin users can pre-set the options here in the Settings area, found by clicking on your avatar in the bottom left-hand corner of any WeTrack page;

  • Any responsible owners and departments for the capability;

  • The Expected Severity of the capability: this is the severity of the response that is expected when this capability is evaluated.

  • Priority: high, medium or low;

  • An optional Ref Code;

  • Description.

You can then either save the capability and view its details, save and add another activity straightaway, or save and close.
